planning on renting a one bed apt for myself next month and as the majority of these seem to be let through letting agencies I am just wondering about any hidden fees I should ask about...i.e, service charges, bin charges or maintenance charges etc. should these be included in rent and so on..
    Ta. ;)

ask the agency, but typically the landlord pays all agency fees...

These three should be included in your rent. Energy & communications should be extra. The landlord insures his, you insure yours.
