Convert AVI/MPEG/WMV to SWF

Anybody know of any free apps to convert from .avi etc to a flash clip? I've been looking for one online but can't seem to find any that work. I tried vid2swf beta command line version but I can't get it to work. Thanks

AFAIK, flash will import AVI's directly. I may, and probably am wrong.
