hey, Im buying a laptop soon and I was wondering which anti virus software is best McAfee or Norton? I know there is a free one as well AWG, is this any good? Any help is appreciated.

yeah avg is very good. that it is free is even better. i had problem with norton antivirus 2005 in regards to cs source.

Best: NOD32
Free: AVG (still pretty good)

Dont bother with Norton or McAffee. Either of the above are superiour for less money.

hi, i had norton and had loads of problems, a friend suggested i go to www.avats.com its free and my computer is working great now.:D

Norton's a bitch and for some reason had some kind of fit when I use FF (dunno why)! Changed over to the free version of AVG about 6 months ago and its working fine for me
