What game are you looking for tickets to?

Are you needing tickets for a British event? and want to buy them here? or looking for tickets to something happening in Ireland?

Afik there is no Irish masters this year in citywest

I think the championship is on in Belfast again this year, if that's of interest to you?

" The most significant was the hosting of the Province’s first professional snooker tournament, the Northern Ireland Trophy, organised in conjunction with the World Snooker Organisation, and the Northern Ireland Events Company. The event attracted the top sixteen ranked players in the world to play in the city, and over 5,000 people attended over the five day playing period.

Matthew Stephens was the ultimate winner of the trophy with Stephen Hendry as the runner up. The competition attracted a great deal of positive local and national media coverage, and the organisers expressed great satisfaction with how the venue and the staff had equipped themselves to deliver such a professional event within the very short eight week lead in time that it had been given. The organisers, World Snooker, have already indicated a desire to return to the city with the potential to raise the grade of the competition to an official ranking event. "

Hi...sorry to butt into your thread...but I too would be thrilled if I could get tickets.

Where would I go about getting some for either Belfast or England and does anyone know when these events would be on.

Its my Bf's b'day in March and I have to find a way of beating the PSP I got him for Xmas as a gift.

I am SLLLLOOOOOWWWWLY learning about the enjoyment of snooker...Watched Sunday night and thoroughly enjoyed it as it was so close til the last second....also spent the weekend in bed watching that game with the guy who was quite old...Stephen...Higgans possibly????? The one that was on about a month ago. That was good too. So, what I'm saying is, that I would have no problem accompanying my man to a game and who knows, in a few months I might be a regular on this board!!!

Thanks for any suggestions...oh, as a valentines I was going to get him the PSP snooker game....anyone played it, is it worth it?

For the Belfast tournament, it's just a matter of calling the Waterfront in Belfast just before the competition. As competition goes on, the tickets are harder to get. Last year we had the worlds top 16 plus four others (look out for Mark Allen from Antrim!).

Theres no Irish Masters cos the China Open got preference for the dates the Irish Masters would have been played, and then RTE and Citywest said they could not fit the tournament into there April plans, instead we'll probably get to watch good oul RTE repeats,God the licence fee is so worth it.
