 ok, my Sky + will record programmes i have not requested to record, 2 in particular, Emmerdale and Coronation street, i have deleted the series link and the entire reminder and rebooted the system, yet every time they are on my Sky+ dives at the chance to record them.

we have even checked while it is recording and there is no record request on the planner.

any one else have this problem and how did they resolve it please?

thank you in advance. :o

Yes, I had this problem once, it recorded Emmerdale for no reason, there was no series link and no red R in the search and scan banner.

How I fixed mine was to do a Planner Rebuild, to do this press
Services then 4, 0, 1 and select. (There is no 0 option but just press it anyway).

This will bring you into the Installers Menu, then select Planner Rebuild and follow the on screen instructions, in total it takes about 5 minutes, the box will re-boot and the problem should be sorted, (hopefully).

This does not delete the programmes already recorded and does not affect any future recordings or series links.

Hope this helps.
