I recently got an avensis d4d and have noticed that once i go over 60 to 70 Km/Hr on a road which has undulations onit that the mud flaps hit the road surface. This can happen with just one or two people in the car so the car is not over loaded. Anybody any suggestions as to why this is happening before i go back to the dealer. Thanks

Is it the new or the old type Avensis?

There has been a few reported issues with premature wear on the rear suspension arms on some of the new type models.

It could also simply be a worn rear bushing or shock absorber.
