well frisbee and cricket are actual sports that have millions of followers around the world and are still going strong today, much the same for hip hop.

grunge on the other hand died off in the mid 90's.

    never said it died.

died off (hasn't got the same impact/coverage as it once had).
    died (gone, gone forever.)

With grunge being a style of alternative music, what's to stop you posting here? That besides there being absolutely no need for one.

Seems like you've just made this thread to increase your post count.

Anyone for an Ace of Base forum?

Seriously though grunge was cool and all but there just wouldnt be enough interest to justify a forum, you could just as easily start a grunge thread in here or something.

Grunge is too narrow a genre to warrant a forum of its own in my opinion. Hip hop covers a huge variety of styles and genres (whether you like it or not) but in fairness to grunge, it's fairly restricted.

Anyway this thread is going nowhere. It does seem like Funsterdelux is posting just for the sake of it. If you want to discuss grunge I think it'll fit in nicely on this forum or the rock/metal forum. This thread is el lockedo.
