india visa difficulties

    does anyone know the best way to get a holiday visa to india - the indian embassy say you can email them only - they havent replied to the email - there is no form to fill out on the site

    any ideas

    What d'you mean, you can email them only? You can go in to the embassy in person either, if you want, which I'd recommend. Although I see you're in Kilkenny, so it might be difficult. If you want to do it from there you're going to end up having to post your passport to them and I wouldn't entrust my passport to An Post even if it was registered and insured.

    I remember it took them five working days to process my visa; applied for a single entry but they gave me a multiple entry one that's valid for ages.

    no - i took from the phone message that they wanted all applications via email and they didnt reply - but i think that's not what they meant - will try phoning them tomorrow

    you could go into the travel agents where your getting your tickets and they will help you sort it out

    You have to go into the Embassy with your application. That's what I did before.
