Hi. Having some issues with Sharewatch, in terms of getting access to their web site and completion of an application. I did note that someone had issues with their performance. Anyone else?

Somebody else did complain about Sharewatch a couple of months ago here. They didn't get a good feeling about the whole operation. Maybe you could do a search?

I can't speak myself on the issue though. I went with Davy for the peace of mind and they're great, although pricey.

Already signed up with them. Application has taken months and still no sign of progress. They have my cheque, I could cancel, but its only 6o euro so will set how it goes.

Davy sorted out my application very fast.

I was trading in less than 48 hours.

I applied a few weeks back for Sharewatch. They seem cheap, and application wasn't too painful, although a lot of forms had to be signed and sent away.

On the downside, there was no guide to using the site sent to me, not even a link. Their support/admin staff don't seem very professional either, at least not via email.

Been with them for a good few years now.... their service itself is good and cheap but their customer service is not the best.... they can be quite rude on the phone sometimes and I had and still have problems getting a statement of all my buying and selling transactions from the last fews years.... Apparently I will be charged even if they email them to me. Which is completely ridiculous! What am I paying them a €60 annual admin fee for then?

Still though, they are by far the cheapest especially if you plan on doing quite a bit of buying and selling. They're quite possibly the Ryanair of the stockbroker world.... 100% NO frills! :p
