    hey,

I guess this is a funny request for advice but im sure someone has a solution. My boxing mitts fcuking stink. Im weary of putting them in the wash for fear of them falling apart. anyone had this problem before and possible solutions? I heard baking soda absorbs smell or something.

    Thanks folks.

The baking soda is to absorb moisture (sweat).

You can get different types of deodourisers for boxing gloves, but i dont bother, they are a waste of cash imo.

trick is to wear handwraps always, and dry the gloves out after using them ( air them out or if they are soaked use a heatgun/hair dryer but dont burn the material)

When they are dry you can put in car air freshners, or bounce tumble dryer sheets or whatever your choice of nice smelly stuff is, as long as it doesnt moisten the gloves.

But handwraps will prevent gloves getting badly smelly in the first place. handwraps should always be worn under gloves anyway.

    Spot on.

Handwraps.......not just for knuckle protection. :D
