One decoder - two TV's - two red-eyes...

    ...can it be done?

    The setup ---- Dish, 1 lnb -> decoder in attic -> powered av2 port -> Y splitter -> TV1 & TV2 - each with a red eye.

    Is this likely to work? I understand that the same program is on both TV's but what I'm after is the ability to change chanells from two different rooms.

    Poppy-cock or do-able?

    There is a global amplifier/splitter that will enable you to use up to 4 eyes and 4 tvs at the same time its about 50euro - the channel will be the same one though

    Or indeed 6 or 8 TV. Several brands. Maplin, B&Q etc too.

    Any make/model details -I've spent that much on crap in B&Q I'm sure I'd buy the wrong thing.

    Thanks.
