Been playing for a few months now. my early play was really bad but Im doing a lot better for the last 3-4 weeks as Ive settled on my system of play.
Should I reset the stats and maybe do monthly or leave the stats accumulate? what other ways are people using to track their play over time other then the bank manager? ;)

    ta.

Personally i dont really use them. I mix up my play so much, that it would screw up the results.

If you looking to be tight a 23% flops seen, on a full tables good. The rest should be str8 forward enuff.

I'd reset them, as when you were learning it wont give a good reflection on how you play now.

Post them here if you want feedback ;)

Id be embarrased about posting the stats as they are now as theyre about half and half of when I was on a steep learning curve.
My chip count has usually been the indicator of how Ive been doing but want to start moving it up a step.
I'll reset and post back in a month. thanks. :)

Another tool that alot of players use to analyse their play is PokerTracker, having said that PPP doesn't support PT so it's no good there, however, if you change sites then it could be well worth getting.

Ive only played PPP. Ive toyed with trying other sites and probably will in the fullness of time so despite all the bumph about this or that site and paddys, is there really any difference between them all?
Surely if you stick to your game and you think its solid on one site, it will be on another?
Lastly, Do other sites reward points better then ppp? I have a 6 figure points tally there and they seem to just run tourneys that take a couple of hours.
    thanks for your patience.

Each different site has pro's and con's, but there is a difference between them, from the support, to the software, the look and feel, the players playing on them, etc. etc.
In relation to other offers, other sites offer alot more such as deposit bonuses, for details on them try www.bonuswhores. com.
EDIT: This link seems to be causing problems with my computer when I click through, but try the site later, I think it's the right address.
RE-EDIT: Try this one, http://www.bonuswhores.com/bonus-whoring-101.php, their home page just seems to be down.

Although if you're playing at a high level (such as 3/6) you should have a rakeback deal in place, for details on these try www.rakerebatereview.com or http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=rakeback.

Also, if you're moving money around different sites I'd set up a Neteller account, PPP don't support these yet, but they're pretty much the only ones that don't.

www.pokerlistings.com gives decent reviews of various poker sites. It can occasionally be a bit out of date, but it also has pretty good signup deals for some poker sites, better than the standard ones usually.

Yeah there's there's a big difference between the quality and type of players on one site at certain stakes and on another. For example you could consistenly make money at certain stakes on Paddy Power and get killed at the same stakes if you moved to Stars or Ultimate Bet for example.
Also there's a big difference in the type of player at different networks. For example Tribeca (Paddy Power's one) is absolutely packed with gamblers with no poker ability who got into the site from one of the many bookmaker sites on the network. These players buy in very short at tables and just jam it, hitting a couple of times maybe but ultimately always losing their buy in. if like me your biggest cash game leak is doubling up shortstacks in trying to get them off the table then Tribeca can be frustrating :) The Irish are particularly bad in this respect on Tribeca - about 5% of them buy in for full stacks and I have *never* seen an Israeli buy in for a full amount.
Hang onto you PPP action points, according to Karl you'll be able to buy extended years of life and flying unicorns fairly soon. I'm going to get a pink one.

I was looking around on Sunday night on Party Poker and saw that they are having a 50k freeroll for UK players only, no player points or anything needed to enter it. Sites like Paddy Power dont have the player base to be able to offer their players freebies like this.
Obviously we're not eligible for this freeroll but its an unbelievable amount of money to be putting up for a freeroll.
