My Aldi Medion 8008 PC has become very noisy.
It used to be very quiet. I suspect the PSU.
It is not the CPU fan.
Anyone suggest a suitable PSU for this model.
It was bought in April '03 (P4 2.6 GHz )

I've never had an Aldi computer, I prefer to put em together meself. Having said that, I've heard nothing but good things about them, strangely enough. Surprised me.

The standard for computer cases at the mo is ATX so the PSU you'll be lookin' for will be Standard ATX in size. I'd go for a decent make.....Antec, Tagan, Enermax, Hiper or Seasonic. As for wattage?? I don't know the spec of you system but 450W is usually enough.

    Try Komplett.

I knew a fella from Louth called Tadgh. Don't suppose you're him are ya?

Thanks. Very useful, although I think it is a PSU that is required.
