I haven't started a pointless thread in a while so here we go...

How long do you have your current mobile number for?
I have mine 7 years, and im only on my 2nd SIM card (Only lost the SIM card last summer when it fell into the sea!)

well i got my phone is 1999, had that number until some skangers stole my phone in 2002, and had the same one since.

have a meteor one for free texts too, but they're disposable!

also have a spanish one for when i'm in spain.

Since July 2000, friend got it for my birthday, he insisted I have a phone

Changed the sim once cause the original only stored 11 messages and that wrecked my head

Gotten 2 other numbers in the mean time but only used them for the free credit, plus only got them cause the stores didn't have any upgrade handset and I didn't want to wait.

I have two phones, one 02 and one Meteor. The 02 one I've had for 5 years, although for a few of those years I was Vodafone. I've had the Meteor one for less than a month, I just use it for the free texts really.

Ya know, when I was your age we didn't even have mobile phones. Except for this one guy who had a phone attached to a suitcase, and god knows that turned out to be really practical for some enterprising young mugger who beat him to death with it.

Just shy of ten years, been across two mobile operators with this number which was originally Eircell. Still had 'Eircell' on my phone until I switched to Meteor a few months ago and got a brand spankin new phone, free!
