Eircom Business Enhanced pings

    Hi,
    Can you post your pings here if you're on the Eircom Business Enhanced package ? (5M down, 512k up).
    Also modem type, thanks. Trying to see if there is anything that can be done to improve ping times.

    Me -
    ping www.eircom.net = 43ms (improvement of 7ms since upgrade)
    modem = Alcatel speedtouch home (ethernet)

    Is that difference mainly in interleaving!? That is a HUGE difference.

    i think it is.. the business packages have always had higher than isdn pings:( while the residential packages get lower pings with every upgrade that eircom do.

    Currently no pings at all. Our Eircom business enhanced line has been down for four days now.

    High interleaving seems to be the reason alright.
