Behringer EX1200 Ultrabass Pro / Bass subharmonics

Not too sure if I'm in the right forum or not but... has anyone used one of these with a bass guitar?

I love the ultrabass on my behringer practice amp and I wanted to add some extra subharmonics on my ashdown. This seems like the perfect solution but the detail on the behringer website appears to market it towards using it with a PA or sound system. I'm unsure if its suitable to use with a bass guitar and amp. Last thing I want to do it destroy my Ashdown. Although, it is on sale on a few online music stores in the bass guitar sections, but also I prefer not to waste money on a product that I can't test out here before I buy (can't seem to find it for sale here, it retails at about €110 online).

So, I just want to make sure that it's suitable really. I'd like to hear any suggestions of alternatives either.

    Thanks

You're right, I have a MAG 300 head and cab. There are subharmonics on it but they don't sound as well defined (for lack of a better word) as the ultrabass. It helps fill out the sound but I'd like to experiment with something a lot louder and heavier, like behringer ultrabass.
