We're running a remapping day over on BMW-Driver.net

If anyone is interested in coming along, you can post your details at http://www.bmw-driver.net/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=310

Prices for the remap should be between €250 and €300, dependent on numbers. Normal price is €350. Hopefully, Total BMW magazine or Performance BMW should also be in attendance.

    Cheers

    Ken

Just to bump and update -

This is locked in for the 4th and 5th of March. 4th is BMW only, but 5th is now open to other manufacturers... VW / Audi etc. Price is €250 per car.

Forums have moved, so original URL won't work - new link here - http://www.bmw-driver.net/forum/showthread.php?t=298

No bother - if you want to pop down on the Saturday you can see how things go before taking the plunge. The map with directions to the place is up on the thread above

Edit - here are some figures done with stock cars by the same guy, TDi cars etc would normally have far larger gains than the N/A cars below...

    328i 218.9hp (std 193)
    M3 3.0i 311hp (std 285)
    E36 325i 211hp (std 192)
    E46 320d 206hp (std 150)
    E46 320d 187hp (std 136)
    E36 320i 171hp (std 150)

Quick thanks to everyone who turned up over the two days - the event was a huge success.

Had my own car done and its driving better than ever, more linear power delivery, better throttle response and better consumption as well, which I wasn't expecting. Highly recommended for anyone who is thinking of getting their car remapped, I'm sure others who attended will agree.

Can diesel cars be remapped for any significant gains? e.g the 320d or 330d?

Diesels respond far better than petrols - one 530d was remapped from 190bhp or so to 255bhp on the day
