How to approach chinese girls?

Im working with this chinese girl that I like but I'm finding it vey hard to approach her. I've a fear if I go over and chat her up, ask her out the whole lot she'll just look at me like an ejit and tell me to get lost like she already did to another guy. Anybody have any history on this. What do chinese girls like? Are they even interested in Irish blokes?

I was invited for coffee once by a Chinese girl, but I think it was more of a "thank you" for helping her with something rather than anything romantic.

Just be nice to her. I accidently did this in my previous job (I felt a bit sorry for her), she took it the wrong way, and tried to become my girlfriend. (I already had a girlfriend. SHAME! The asian girl was hot!!)

Anyway. My point is: be nice to her, invite her to a dinner party you're having with friends.

You have nothing to lose. Worst case scenario she'll be flattered. She's not going to tell your workmates that you're a sleaze or something like that.

I can't remember the exact source, though I think it was on an Internet news site, or possibly in a newspaper, about six months ago. I was surprised, and thus remembered.

As I best recall, it cited their average number of sexual partners in a lifetime nearing 35...

Anyway, this makes sense given they also have the largest population in the World. That didn't happen because they spent all their time trying to suppress their sexual impulses!

One of my chinese friends is happily married to an irish guy, dont be afraid to approach ANYONE simply on the basis of their nationality. As the others said, just be nice to her like you would any girl that you liked. Best of luck with this!

be nice and mannerly to her, take an interest in something she does, maybe read some news about whats happening in china these days and mention that...she'll like that you're taking an interest in her home country and if she likes you she say yes if you ask her to the cinema or something...

Awww. Thats so stupid... "Chinese girls" are not a group who have declared their universal intentions to the world. I think you'll at least have some chance with her if you think of her as a "person" instead of a "chinese girl".

I'd have to concur on the irish women and booze issue.
They do drink too much and they ain't able to handle it. I don't know how many times I've been in pubs in the capital and seen girls exposing their underpants without realising it.

hi i got my chinese gf cause i pretented to be shy. Well not pretend, but it was a particular characteristic she like from me. It depends on the girl ofcourse, some will be into any scumbag going and others will be more traditional, dont like men approach.

I'm been living in China for the last three years and can help you out with the approach. First you have to tell me what part of China she is from, I presume you've asked her that much? Generally Chinese girls are quite traditional - of course there are the odd exceptions. City girls are usually more confident/approachable but it also depends on the city.

If I were you I would definitely show interest in her culture, ask her where she's from, find out some information about that location and then the next time you see her ask her some questions about the things you've read. This will show that you're interested in her culture and that you took the time out to connect with her.

If you tell me where exactly she's from I can give you lots of advice - I have many friends from all parts of China. China has approx. 56 different ethnic minorities/cultures and they all have their own diverse traditions. However, no matter what part of China a Chinese national is from family is extremely important to them. Most Chinese students in Ireland have led a very protected life in China (being an only chilld) and also a lot of family pressure to study hard. Expect her to really really miss her family - perhaps you can ask her about them.

i beg to differ. You have to admit there is a size difference and it has been proven in many surveys. Its not like a 4 inch difference or anything but more like they're average size is between 4.5 to 5.5 inches while ours is 5.5 to 6.5 inches on average.
