Running down to the pixies band after was good too, especially with the crowd surfing

I missed the ball itself, but the afters in Pal Joey's was fanfreakintastic.

Dance Soc are still doing their Friday evening classes in Regent House, aren't they?

off topic rambling/ Actually, i don't know why more single guys don't go to those classes, there was always a lot more girls than guys at them when i used to go. Actually, myself and an ex-boyfriend nearly broke up over those classes - we went together, and it was a great relationship and everything, but we were a bad dancing pairing. Mega issues about the differences between 'left' and 'right', and who was supposed to be leading.

end off topic rambling/ I saw some of the pixies tribute band in the buttery, and they were really, really good.

"What are you doing at Strauss ball?!? (repeat punctuation marks as desired)

I mean you at Strauss ball. Like, what are you doing at Strauss ball,i mean its like black tie and you and strauss ball."*

this went on for about 10 minutes.

    * my bess-isms come to the fore when i'm surprised/shocked

Haha thats just harsh, if he had some feelings worth upsetting i'm sure you'd have insulted him...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,024 ✭✭✭Awayindahils

it wasn't meant to be harsh, just as i explained later, of all the people who i sort of know through one thing or another, he was the last person i expected to see at strauss ball.

(and this was all said very quickly and rather incoherently)

well thats an interesting sort-of apology. he wasn't sleezing on ye at the time was he?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,198 ✭✭✭✭Crash

...Who do you think i am? how DARE you ask a question like that?

    course i was :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,314 ✭✭✭Nietzschean

considering on the past several occasions i've been drinking with you you've accused me of sleezing upon several women(accuracy of the statements isn't currently being question'd...alcohol), i figured its about time.

it wasn't meant to be an apology, merely an explanation.

ejects? that doesn't even make sence, unless ye've decided to change some dictionary definitions...

Maybe Big Ejits ? :p (also not in the dictionary..but popular slang..)

the chances of me changing my spelling habits are quite slim at this stage, but the constant correction is apprciated, much in the same way one likes being untold that ones fly is undone.:p
