I'm a 17 year old lad and i'm looking for a bit of advice about gym work, i only joined last friday and i've gone 3 times already. I'm quite fit and so far i've been doing 1.5K on the treadmill(1st Km at a moderate pace, then a break and last half quite quickly), 1 Km on the bike to warm up and then 2 Km later on. I'm also doing some weights as I'm mostly trying to lose weight, I'm using the machines and doing chest, shoulder, abs and legs at managable weights for 2 reps. I just don't know whether this is correct and whether it's the right programme for me! It's fairly intimidating in a gym the first few times and i don't know who to ask and you lot seem to know your stuff!
    HEIGHT 5'9
WEIGHT 12.4 stone(Concentrated around my stomach!)
DIET I have a cereal in the morning and then a tuna sandwich on brown bread at 11. Lunch is a bit of a problem as i'm found of the tuna sub at subway! My mother cooks my dinner and it's always a well rounded meal with plenty of veg. For snacks i'd have fruit and breakfast bars but i'd also have sandwiches sometimes.
Any help would be much appreciated!!:)
