Will 10 year seat holders in Croker get tickets to soccer/rugby matches?

Doubt it. I'd imagine that's for GAA games only.

I presume that those with corporate boxes will be able to use them without additional charge. AFAIK they can use them for concerts etc. but I'm open to correction on this.

The seat holders get first option to buy the seat for concerts afaik. I know someone that has 10 seats and they usually throw a few tics my way so hoping they apply to rugby/soccer but doubt it somehow

The FAI and IRFU will be free to sell (at whatever price they want) all the premium seats and corporate boxes. However, they must offer them first to the current holders of the seats/boxes before offering them to the general public.

The indo seems to think that the GAA will control these - and make extra money as a result.

My info was from the Irish Times. They stated it as fact, so I took it as such.

Any agreement (to rent the stadium) will include the Premium Level and corporate suites, but for box-holders who would wish to purchase tickets for international games, their contract details will determine whether this will be possible or not. It's understood that companies which leased boxes from the beginning are likely to benefit in this regard.

Fair enough. Here's the indo bit:
It is expected that existing premium ticket and corporate box holders will, as currently happens for concerts, be given first option to buy rugby and soccer tickets.

But it looks as if GAA will also be able to cash in additionally by renting out any of their 98 corporate boxes that do not take up this option, though insiders say this has still to be negotiated.

    Thanks for the quote.

Makes me think the Indo have it wrong. Why would the GAA be able to benefit more from the boxes where the option is not taken up, compared to where the option is taken up? Either way the gross receipt per game is the same whether it comes from one of the exisiting corporate holders or someone else.

I think the receipt goes to the FAI/IRFU - but it may increase the GAA's rent depending on overall receipts. But maybe there are certain items still to be ironed out.

I recall reading the terms and conditions of purchasing a Premium level seat, and if I'm not mistaken, if you have the 5 or 10 year seat, you get first refusal on that seat at other events held in Croke Park.

“It’s very important to look after out customer base. We’ve agreed that we will give pre-emptive rights to our box holders and premium seat holders. They will get the first opportunity to buy tickets when they go on sale.”

How do you get 10 year tickets and how much ?

They were offering the 10 year tickets to the premium sections for about (I believe) 7 Grand after each section was built a few years ago. The 5 year tickets were for something like 3800. Can't remember when it was exactly, but I'm pretty sure the price will have gone up by now, and I'd bet they'll offer them to existing holders first before offering to new buyers.
