I think having faith means that you do wholeheartedly believe it.

Wholeheartedly believe. When you know the peace that passes all understanding and have seen His works and heard testimonies of how He has worked there is no question that He exists and is active in the lives of those who trust in Him.

I believe in God as I believe that the sun has risen: not only
because I see Him, but because by Him I see everything else.
