played the fitz for the first time last night.. 100 freezout

    opinions on the following hand.

i had and above average stack just after the break about 8000.

other player had pushed all his chips in on a number of occasions, a lot of the time with not much, ..

I was on the button, he was on the bb. I has hoping for a hand to and looked down to see aks.. raised to 1400, of course he puched all in for about 10k.. i figured his possible hands were any pair any ace so i called. He had 10 10 and didnt improve this was the olny decant hand he had shown..

Is there any way to get away from this.. I think not myself , but opinions welcome..

You played the hand well and will get knocked out here about a third of the time, which is good.

I was at your table aidan, down the end in seat eight I think. I don't think you did anything wrong, that guy's completely insane and would push there with any pair/ semi decent ace. It was just unlucky that his hand stood up. You need to try and accumulate chips early in that tournament becuase it descends into a crapshoot fairly fast.

think for such a tourney i think there is not enough chips .. 6000 would be more realistic...

good game tough, it makes a change to be able to bet at a pot with nothing and get away with it..
