FTV Set up probs (please have patience!)

    Im wondering if any of you learned folk can help me here (I realise it may be a very obvious situation but Im new to all this!).

    I had a skybox at home. No subscription. Recieved BBC 1&2 fine.

    I was recently given a new Sky Digibox and a FTV card (I presume this is what it is, has the channels including Ch4 etc).

    I hooked up this new box, inserted the card. I can STILL get BBC 1&2 but NOT the other channels.

    It is not connected to a phone line at present (neither was the last box).
    Is this the problem?

    (Apologies if this is really obvious!)
