I know this might not be much help now but useful for future reference.

I went to Majorca last summer on holidays and I brought my prescription with me in case I could pick-up some cheap ones. Manage to get a pack of 3 pairs of monthly soft lenses in an opticians for about €25 as far as I can remember!

I have been using them and they are completely fine. So if you're going abroad bring your prescription!

Aside: My mom bought some prescription drugs she needed, there as well. She has a prescription for them in Ireland, but you don't need a prescription in Spain, as long as you know what you're looking for. They were significantly cheaper as well, in comparsion to Ireland.
