I heard today that if you managed to get tickets for the Vicar Street gig that you are entitled to a place in the pits at the point if you get there early. is this true?
sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere else!

If thats true it'd be amazing! I would way have preferred to see him in vicar st but if we get in the pit it'd be brilliant!

I remember something similar happening a few years ago at a gig in Dublin Castle. The Hives were meant to be playing the Ambassador but were moved to the Castle and anybody who had Ambassador tickets were being given pit passes on entry.

So it could be true

yeh it's to ease to blow of having tickets for a good venue but now you'll be in a **** venue.

I suppose it's some kind of consolation for moving the venue. Anybody any idea what the chances are of getting into the pit if you didn't have one of the original tickets? Is it just a matter of first come first served?

Really not sure, I have no idea even how many people the Pit holds! I have 4 Pitt tickets which I have spend alot of money on, I'm gonna try and get some back outside the venue!

OMG Matt Costa is amazing...thats the reason i'm so excited!

His album "Songs We Sing" is brilliant and i would recommend that you listen to a song called "Astair" and "yellow Taxi Cab" - he will prob do a few numbers with JJ himself as they are very good friends!:D

i live in the IFSC, but working in the south city area.... so i might still leave office early... god forbid, hope i'm not out to client in south county |(dun laoghaire or wicklow) that day!... taking a day off is probably overdoing...

the crowd pretty much young people, at 26 i felt older...

AMAZING GIG - I thought Fall Line was excellent and Better together sounded very very good!!! I'm off to see him in Manchester tomorrow also:0) Can't Wait!!!!

Great gig, glad I got down early as I managed to get right up to the barrier.

I think he got the shock of his life when he saw the size/noise of the crowd, I could see him laughing and getting embarassed when everyone was cheering during his first few songs.

Zack? was a legend on the piano, the couple of guinness seemed to do him the world of good!! Nice touch of him to sign whatever was thrown up on stage.

Ahhhh, completely forgot about Zack getting up and playing accordian! That was amazing! His little riffs on piano too were pretty cool aswell.

Out of curiosity, how many people went to messrs after? The place was jammed, and i maybe 3 or 4 people carrying around posters
