Hi Guys, this is my first post. Have been reading here for ages, but am pretty lazy and never got posting.

My question is what type of play in smalll stakes holdem (.25-50c, 50c-$1) do people believe signal that the oppenent has a monster.

    Probably 2 different scenarios

    1) when u have to act first
    2) when ur opponent acts first

I think it depends on the skill level of your opponant so you need to be very careful when determining your opponants hands. The best advice I can give you is to observe the table play and make your decision based on what you have noted. IE is he a tight or loose player. If a tight player suddenly raises the pot you have to be concerned that he may well be holding something.
A good player changes tact constantly and online poker is more difficult than live to pick up tells.
If you are acting first and place a feeler bet a pot sized reraise would cause concern. Then if you were acting first and led out with a pot sized bet a flat call could be of even more concern dependant on the amount of the pot and the type of player you are up against.
Also so much is dependant on pre-flop action. Typically if a decent player raises pre-flop he/she is oblidged to place a large bet post flop. This is not necessarily indicative of nuts though.
Again.. I would suggest you spend the first few rounds playing tight and watching your table before attempting to read anything.

the magic signal is when they go all in!

no seriously it depends on the situation i.e pot size, current bet, pre and post flop play and of course ur hole cards in relation to the board.

These plays are usually site dependent from what I've seen but the most common play in low stakes holdem that signals an oponent has kings or aces is the minimum reraise.

i.e. you raise to $2, he reraises to $4 (although I think some sites allow a reraise to $3.50)

A lot of low stakes players also like going all in with the nuts particularly on flush draws when they hit on the river and they are first to act.

On Prima the latest craze seems to be check-min-raising the turn with a monster but I've seen some players also try this move with nothing trying to represent a big hand.

Yeah it's not an exact science but I suppose there are things you can pin on these players like A likes to push with a monster and B likes to min raise. In general on tribecca min raise means A rag or small pocket pair. I see it very very often.
