MS Access Forms

    Hi there,

You know the way that when you've got a powerpoint presentation, you can change the extension from .ppt to .pps so that it'll launch the presentation straight away instead of you having to launch it from within powerpoint? Well I'm wondering if there is an equivalent in MS Access?

Basically I would like for a form that I've created to open automatically when I double-click the access .mdb file. Anyone have any ideas if this is possible?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Erm think you have to make it a "switch board" or something like that.

Open the database in access go to tools and startup and pick your form and application name and stuff like that. When you've that done, in 'Database Utilities' (under tools aswell) you can choose to make an MDE file. iirc this will lock the database so it can only be accessed through your forms, and not the in built management system.

Thanks. I didn't really think it was possible.

    Much appreciated.
