A Question of Poker.....

Just some simple questions I'd like other peoples opinion on....

Q1. 6 handed. Your in seat 5 with K J off. Everyone on equal money more or less and you know nothing about any of the other players. Seat 3 folds (Seat 6 is dealer) Seat 4 makes minimum raise. Whats your move??

Q2. (from the €250 game in citywest) 2 players left after flop. Player A has K 9 off. Flop is X X 9. Player A checks. Player B raises but this is not heard by the dealer, who turns over the turn card and its a King giving player A two pair. Player B protests that he raised and the king in the board is burnt. Is this ruling correct?

Q3. Given a choice, if you could be dealt AA all night or K Q suited all night which would you choose. Maybe someone with pokertracker could tell us which hand is more successful for them? I do realise this might sound like a silly question and against each other AA is miles in front (83% to be exact) but after the river I think KQ might win more hands.

Q2. As it happens Player A saw out this hand and would have lost anyway King or no King. So the king being burnt probably saved him a lot of chips.

Q1 - No idea if this is a cash game or tournament or what the blinds are in relation to stacks but its an easy fold.

Q2 - You let playerB raise let PlayerA make his decision then burn for the river and put the river out face down, then you take the K and reshuffle it with the rest of the deck and put out a new turn.

Q3 - AA every time, you wont reach the river with aces too often

    1. This all depends on the stacks and the player who raised. In a deep stacked tournament against an averagely aggressive player I'd probably re raise, I hate min raises and like to punish them!

    2. Bohsman's answer

    3. AA every time!!!!!!!
