I've 5-8 days off in a week or so, and no money, is there anything i could do, or any job to earn a few pound in that short of time?

A few years a go there would have been so many opportunities for this casual work, nowadays employers don't want to have to train in new staff if they're only going to be there for a few days!

Go to one of the agencies like Manpower or Hays Montrose and ask for labouring work on the building sites.. Good money in that but they wont guarantee you work for more than a few days at a time AFAIK

Poker man, only way to go, I earn a decent bit out of it per week for the time i play when im not working, up like 431 euro this week, and last week i was up 322 but week before that i think only up about 10 quid you reap the time you put in more or less.

well I know a few people that were in a similar situation and they got one off jobs for Coca-Cola, apparentely there are loads of sales representatives scattered through out dublin, you find one of these reps, and they will give you a 28 can tray on credit for 1000-1200 euro, to be paid back in 2 or 3 weeks. You can then water down this tray so that it becomes a 32 can tray or so next You can know take this tray round to a party or two at the weekend and sell it off in 1.5 can or 5 can sets for around 100 euro and 250 euro respectively. This should result in cash in hand profits of around 2000. 1000-1200 is set aside to pay your Coca-Cola sales rep, leaving you with 800-1000 euro net profit.

He will probably lose his money playing poker and be in a worse position, especially If hes new to it. Were did the money you won come from? someone has to lose!

A lot of the money come from people who have loads of disposable income and do it for the enjoyment. If he studies it and plays it right, he'll be winner over all:)

Do what homer simpson did, get an auto dialler with a message asking people to send you money. Also kidneys go for a few quid on the open market if you know certain people!!!
