    Punchestown 1pm

He was one of my naps for St. Stephens day and ran a stinker but I really think that something had to be wrong with Ballygally Bay that day and could make ammends tomorrow. The race before that has worked out well with his stablemate (whom he beat by 3.5 lengths) winning at fairyhous over the festive period and then one of the horses he conquered that day, Proper Article, winning a couple of days ago. The form is there for all to see and the trainer made an extra effort before Christmas to tell Matt Chapman on ATR that this was a special horse (33-1 for the triumph hurdle), I just think that we should scrap his last race (I just wish I could give you a reason why). A look at the form will see that the favourite in this race won that race where Ballygally bay was so poor but again there's a silver lining in this very dark cloud (but you really have to want to see it!!!) - - - - -

Ballygally Bay beats Vox Populi by 3.5 lengths . . Artist Muse beats Vox Populi by 1 length....Ok I'm grasping at straws here...I'd just like to see the horse run his race tomorrow.

(Have more to add but the 3am deadline is upon me so will have to write more tomorrow if time allows me)

Right, I'm very busy with work so I don't have time to post analysis of these selections, so for that I must apologise. I'm getting on Ballygally Bay today, along with fade. Two other horses worth mentioning are Polar Force (3.25 @ lingfield), who won alot of us a very tidy sum several months back is out again today, forecasted at 25/1, I don't think it will win, but it definately is great each way value. Also out today is Oscar Park, who should win the 2pm at Warwick with ease.

Polar Force was a great horse for me over the summer, I won twice with it at nice odds as well, I think I will just place hime today on Betfair for about 6/1 as it has been very poor in his last 3 races.
I think I will just stick to a place with Ballygally as well.

yeah ive placed ballygally too. just wondering what people think of Crystal d'Ainay in the 3pm at warwick. theres a lot of support for joacci(top weight) and dead eye dick who is in winning form.

Ebony Shades is expected to win the 2:00 at Punchestown, Weld and Geraghty combination and ran some decent races on the flat, currently 3/1 win powers.

Thanks for reminding me of this sjones, he is one of my favourite horses now :D .
He ran a good race, was second for most of it, got him at a nice 6/1 to be placed on Betfair.

Fell about 4 out when still leading(semi stepped at it resulted in an awkward landing and he just crumpled). His jumping up to then was a bit sketchy so it wasn't a huge suprise when he bit the dust. The horse rolled on top of AP but he seemed ok afterwards(horse & jockey). He fell in a school after racing at Haydock last week so all is not well with his "lepping".

Clearly something amiss with this horse as he didn't run his race at all and was probably the first horse beaten. He is definitely better than his last 2 runs.

Not a bad day all in all for me. Did 2 little accums...Eurotrek, Kinburn, Be Be King and The Local...The local let me down in the end for 1200...ah well...still got something back of it.

In a straight accum I did, (rather unimaginatively - Iron Man, Nadover, Hard Act to Follow, Clew Bay Cove, who went off at a great price pf 11/10, clearly the best form in the race...and I also stuck in Reading...so 4 horses have won and Reading are winning 1-0 now)

As for Ballygally Bay....you're as mystified as me Fr Wishy Washy...I'm sure Stephen Mann is too.

And I hate to post like this lads but there were some other horses today who I really fancied but never got around to posting...Moayed and Polar Force were ones in the same race...Moayed wins and Polar Force got a place at 20-1.

Still though. a rude way to post so I apologise about that.
