Interrailing

Myself and a group of friends are thinking about interrailing this summer but we only have two weeks in which to do so. Ideally a month would be nice but two weeks is all we can take off work. I was wondering if anyone could offer a possible route we could take.
I was thinking flight from dublin to london, train from london to amsterdam, spend three days there, then take overnight train to prague, spend three days there, then train to munich spend three days there, then train to paris and spend three days there then home.
What do you think of this?
This seems like an okay plan for the time we have.
However, I would love to see amsterdam, Prague, Krakow, Budapest and possibly Vienna. Now I could travel to those paces in that order but that leaves me in Vienna with little time probably to get home.
If anybody has a suggestion?

If you're restricted with cash, it'll give you an idea of where you can afford to go.

Do go though. Great craic. Try for more than two weeks.

Might be cheaper to use Eurodomino tickets if you're only going for two weeks.

is interrailing the best way to see europe? i want to take in some cities this summer and im weighing up my options. it is definitely the cheapest option, but how comfortable a journey is it?

How much would you be looking at for say a month Interrailing? Eating cheap but healthily, I don't drink so that wont be an issue although I hear drink is dirt cheap anyway:) and living in hostels or other cheap accom?

The World Cup is on in Germany so it might be more expensive to go there. Vienna is brilliant, I would definitely recommend that you try to make it there

Interrailling is a serious contender for me and the g/f this summer. Was thinking of working for the first two months saving and then head off for the month. There is a couple of particular places i want to see but other then that i'd be completely carefree on where I end up. 400 euros for near unlimited travel across europe........Where could ya go wrong! (famous last words)

Well I've more or less decided that interrailing would not be a good choice for me this year as I'll only be able to take a two week trip. According to others I've talked to you really need a month or more to make the most of it.
Instead I'm thinking about probably flying to amsterdam, spend about three or four days there (I've heard that the sleazy side gets to you after a few days so four days will be plenty), then take a train to berlin (the gayest city in europe apparently! I'm straight so I don't know if this is a good thing!) spend a few days there and then take a train to either prague or budapest and spend the remaining days there then fly home.
Now I'll have to iron out all the details but it could be good.
