So anyone heading to see Ben Lee on the 5th Feb???

Think it should be a good gig, looking forward to seeing him in a small venue, wonder will he do anything off "The Bens"...that'd be cool, even cooler if Kweller and Folds were there too, not likely :rolleyes:

saw him play Whelan's with Ben Kweller (both supporting Evan Dando) 5 years ago, great gig, but the show was stolen a little by the other Ben and Evan

love the song from his new album that Ray D'Arcy plays from time to time, will be buying the album shortly based on that song alone, haven't a clue what the name is

What's Ben Kweller up to ? , it's been ages since On My Way

Couldn't go to Ben Folds last summer but was sure he'd come back when he announced a few UK dates in Dec, no joy though.
Songs for Silverman was a bit disappointing though

Haven't heard anything new by Ben Kweller recently.

I liked Songs for Silverman but personally, I think that Ben's best albums are the live ones like Songs for Goldfish and Ben Folds Live!

Looking forward to the gig in Whelans though...really like Awake is the New Sleep!:)

Brilliant gig, a pretty relaxed and friendly performer, songs were also great.

Wasn' too pushed on going last night but he put on a great show. He had the crowd doing bacing vocals from the 2nd song onwards and he even played a song by The Bens.

Ya really enjoyed the gig! He really engaged with the crowd!

I was thrilled too that he did Bruised, off The Bens, was brilliant!

Oh and hey... Especially for You!!


Loved the way he ended the gig with the acoustic "We're All in this Together"...was class...you could hear a pin drop...well cept for the peops in the bar next door!

Thought the gig last night was absolutely brilliant even though I am not a huge fan. Brilliant audience participation. Won't be missin his gigs again.

I was at a superbowl party but would have loved to have gone!!!
