hp psc - part missing

    I am missing the control panel overlay from my new Printer scanner copier (sticky paper that goes over the function keys) The printer wont work without it, believe it or not!!! Does anyone know where I can get another. possibly a hp help line number or will the shop I bought it from have extras? thanks, Daisy.:confused:

    I purchased a printer that had a guide wheel missing .... paper constantly jammed or came out crunched from day one :( .....

    called the manufacturer .... yep ... the wheel was meant to be missing !!! :eek: .....

    took the printer back to shop ... asked to see the display model first ... it had no missing wheel :confused:

    so ....... I said to the shop keeper ... "can I please have a new printer cos this one has a wheel missing:mad:

    .... and he gave me a replacement ..there and then

    take it back Daisy and get a new one .... :)
    (I presume it was missing on arrival?)

    ps. and no .... I didn't get the printer from dell!
    (edit for sp.)
