It's kind of difficult to answer you with so little information.

What type of bars, what do you fancy eating, how much money would you spend on a pint, on a meal...?

go to the latin quarter, the other side of the river from Notre Dame, just off Pont Neuf bridge. There are loads of different restaurants there and so the prices are good

on a meal for two people i'd budget at 80euro
Pint about 4 - 4.50euro....
type of meals? good old steak:) but i would also be looking to try some sort Of French dish.
