Guitar Service

Is there anyone in Dublin other than Derek Nelson that does guitar servicing?
Need earthing/connections etc checked to get rid of a hum before I go recording. I'd also like intonation and setup done by a professional, and Nelson has a waiting list.

Somewhere I can drop instrument in and pick it up the next day would be ideal.
    Any Ideas?

    cheers.

I've never had anything done but in Clondalkin village, Monastery Music do a repair service. Might be worth ringing just to find out

Try Sound Gear in Portobello, they do repairs too.

Called sound gear earlier, dead sound on the phone, 30squid for full service.
Will have guitar in to them shortly so.

For my info did Derek Nelson say how long his "waiting list" is?

The phone message they have at the moment says they're not re-open after the Holiday period until January 18th. When I was talking to them before Xmas they said it usally takes a week or so.
