hi,

Is there outlets in where you can go and pay for a guidance counselor/ career advice in Ireland. I have been searching on the net but can't find any. I am currently in full time employment which I feel the prospects have run dry and need a bit of help in deciding future moves ie further part time education etc...

I know this type of thing are ususally based in colleges and schools but i am looking for a service serperate from these bodies.

all I find on the net are college advice and career tests.

The FAS Opportunities Exhibition is coming up in Feb....that might be of some help if you could get to it. www.fas.ie will give you all the info you need.

I know a lass who can help you on that. PM me your email and I'll get her to send you an email. She's very good will do apt tests as well as sound advice and career direction. One catch anyone who's good at this comes at a price but I'll let you find that out for yourself. I'm in NZ at the moment visiting family and will be back in Ireland early next week but if you can wait till then I'd be happy to help.
