    Yup same here.
    Getting disconnected from wow constantly.
Also all my favourite game servers in hlsw are showing pings from 50 on some to 800 on others.
FFS eircom the past 3 weeks has been a joke for me :(

Strange, I don't seem to be "raped" when I get to the 4th hop like everyone else. The hop after that though :(
    C:\Documents and Settings\Adam>tracert 82.136.31.5

    Tracing route to hestia.reload-network.co.uk [82.136.31.5]

    8 576 ms 582 ms 584 ms hestia.reload-network.co.uk [82.136.31.5]

    Trace complete.

[edit]Having done a few more tracert's, sometimes the 4th hop is the killer, other times it's not. For example tracing google.co.uk is fine until the 5th hop!

seems back to normal, anyone else?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,630 ✭✭✭Blaster99

I didn't notice it going bad, but what I am seeing a lot of are disconnects. Not at modem level, but every so often the internet as such is just dead. And then it comes back again.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,115 ✭✭✭Pacifico

Didnt notice any major problems with pings recently. Got disconnected from TS a few time though, maybe packetloss i think....

Hopefully its due to the upgrades! ;):)

Just noticed your post there Blaster, yep same for me then...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 100 ✭✭fightin snr

People have been experiencing this problem daily for nigh on 3 weeks now, there's several topics about it.

I think we're all hoping it's temporary and just a result of the speed upgrades coming on Jan 20th.

My connection drops daily to about 24kbps down and 46kbps down, does this randomly throughout the day, haha, I might as well break out the dial-up modem for a a better connection, lol.
