Just wondering how anyone else has found the battery life when watching a full length movie. I haven't watched one for more than 30 mins yet but even if the battery is fully charged the battery indicator will drop to less than 1/3 almost as soon as I start a video.

anyone else found this to happen or how long do you normally get watching a movie?

Brand new iPod only 2 weeks old as well. Thanks

Thinking of trading up to a Creative vision M already!!

Apple say that with a full battery you should be able to about 2 hours video on the 30G one and 3 or 4 on the 60G. I havent actually tested this out properly but I have noticed that the little meter thing in the corner isnt especially accurate. Either that or the battery heals itself. I could start watching a video full battery and when I stop its in red. But if I put on music or leave it alone for a while the meter goes back up a good bit.

I was kinds thinking that maybe the battery indicator rather than show you whats left in the battery maybe it's trying to be too smart for it's own good and show you if you keep doing what you're doing, i.e. palying music or watching a movie, how much battery life you have left.

Dunno, have to properly test this thing!!

yeah the battery life while watching video or ever looking at photo's is terrible on the video. I've noticed aswell the "battery bar that lies".
