pc stuck on 'windows xp' boot screen after installing battlefield 2

    Hi, i have installed a new gfx card, which worked fine afterwards, and I was running half life 2. I decided to install battlefield 2, which i did, and it installed fine, along with direct x 9c that comes with it, I restarted and my PC is stuck in the Windows Xp loading screen, anyone any ideas? (it boots into safemode fine)

    Boot into Safe mode and check your event logs for ay boot up errors. Might give an indication

    dont see anythin :( other than some crap about a driver not being able to load in safe mode
