I was thinking about waxoyling the underside of my Escort - What sort of steps should I follow in doing this? Or, is there anything else people would recommend instead of waxoyl?? ;)

    Cheers,
    Al

I used the air spray waxoyl and all I can give is
Leave a layer of wax on the paint and buff after (over spray) it can save time later.
    Rap up well (over spray)
    Keep the can warm.

Al, I waxoyled my previous Stag with the kit Waxoyl supply - 2.5L drum & pump but ended up buying and using an extra 5L.

I feel it did the car good - it goes on easily, and then semi-hardens. The only problem was when summer came, the waxoyl melted a bit - caused the driveway to look a little oily. Not a big deal though.

I think it's a "good thing". The only caveat is: wash out the pump when you're done 'cos the waxoyl does a great job of plugging it come winter - you need lots of hot water and elbow grease to remedy
