    ...watch how appalling Pat's introduction is without his trusty autocue.
    For what ever reason, 'his' Camera 1 with autocue, is over at the far side of the studio at the start of the show, so he's just facing a regular camera to introduce it, reeling stuff off the top of his head.

    He manages to do the latter fairly well, but he barely looks at the camera once for the whole intro, there being no autocue on it - very noticable. Comes across very scatty.

    Nothing major now :o, but 'that's why' if you were watching on Friday and wondering. Kinda funny to watch in hindsight...

    Then again he can be the epitome of cool at events like the Late Late Fashion Show etc, in front of 6,500 people in the Point and 750,000 at home - one of the best hosts you could have for major events like that.

    Like the youth of today and their 'internet' :), he's of the autocue generation :)
