Hello. I want to get myself a nice shiney wireless system for my bass (musicman stingray), but i'm completely lost when it comes to them.:o

I need some advice on what to look out for in the systems, ie what makes one better than the other. Some recommendations would be cool too.

    Thanks in advance. :)

Maybe check out a few threads here before splashing out.

Apparently some of the cheaper wireless systems operate on fixed frequencies rather than giving an option of 3 or 4 frequencies. So if another bandmate has a similar wireless set up, it may casue problems.

Other than that, make sure you dont gig or rehearse close to any taxi companies :D

AKG or Shure are fine systems, depends on what you pay obviously.

dB technologies do them as well but I don't know much about their wireless stuff.

Thanks for the quick replies. :)

I've been looking at AKG, Niefer and sennheiser on musicstore.

I'm prepared to spend between 300 and 400.
