Hey

Im heading to Poland on wednesday, does anyone know where in dublin i can get polish money, the banks have told us that we would have to order it a week in advance, and its too late for that now!

Does anyone also know if you can use AIB banks cards & laser cards over there?

You will be able to use ATM cards there no problem - look for a machine with a Visa symbol or a PLUS symbol (see the back of your card for an example). You could also try ringing Bank of Ireland at Dublin Airport - they may carry a wider range of currencies without the need to order.

You will be able to use your laser card there if it has the cirrus symbol. I was there in Dec and using credit cards was not a problem and there are plenty of ATMs everywhere, check in the airport when you arrive. I did find that one of the bigger banks would not take the card as there were too many spaces for my PIN number, then I panicked, but found another one and no problem

It'll cost a lot to use your laser and a lot of places wont take it. Just take out money by atm and use your credit card as well.
