I haven't seen all episodes, particularly those from season 7 and 8. What has happened to the Tokra?

On the Dole queue looking for new jobs?

I remember they distanced themselves from earth, bit surprised when i heard nothing of them after the demise of the goauld.

I'd say there has been very little about them so far because they killed off Jacob Carter at the nd of Season 8.

He was the most easily recognisable Tok'ra.

there was one ep in the new series where the jafa government were talking about meeting them but we never saw if it happened

same ole, same ole, they're off fighting the goa'uld in their own way :p

hehe, if it wasn't for Jacob/Selmac they would never had anything to do with the Tau'ri really.

Oh yeh, did we ever find out if any1 from earth was up for becoming hosts, like SG-1 suggested when we first met the Tok'ra.

Yeah, I'm also going with the Dole...what with there being no more Goa'uld to assasinate.

uhmmzz, do we actually really know how many Goa'uld there are for definite. SG-1 seemed to bring in a new one every week in the 1st few seasons, lol. Besides, unless I'm mistaken B'aal is very much still alive.

Well I really don't see the Tok'Ra doing anything about Ba'al.

I hadn't realised they'd killed him off  I thought he was just keeping a low profile.

No, he is dead. After the episode (can't remember the title) where they defgeat the replicators on Takara, Jacob Carter says that 'he has been pushing Salmek' and that he can no-longer go on. he died in the infirmary in Stargate Command.

Did the Tokra revive the queen in a Sarcophagus? I don't remember that happening, though it would make sense to use it just once, never hurt all the SG-1 team members who used it on more than a few occasions.

There should still be loads of Goa'Uld hiding around the galaxy, not to mention the Ba'al family on Earth. It's a bit strange that this hasn't been mentioned since the first few episodes.

no they never said they put hajeria in the cercoughagus but it would be a good story arc if they did it would explain the tokra in hiding rappidley rebuilding there numbers

I thought the main problem the Tok'ra had was a lack of hosts rather than symbiote's? Hence the deal they wanted to make with Earth when SG1 first met them.

yeah, i reckon they were eating too many jaffa cakes and they all got sick and died

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,905 ✭✭✭User45701

that can happen well not the dying part but the sick part damm musgraves i ate 40 boxes of them in one day and boy was i sick

If the Tokra use the Sarchogus on the queen and she is building numbers... sounds like a new story line where they will turn bad.. :)

I've got a feeling the Tok'Ra are not so far away and may be back pretty soon, but not as the nice guys as we knew them as before. Now that Jacob is gone, there is nothing to keep the non-official alliance together.:v:

the episode with the queen Hageria was actually quite a good episode aswell

They are still floating around. If I remember correctly, it was them who told the SGC that Ba'al was the one stealing the Stargates.
