478 MOBO The best money can buy!!

Can anyone tell me the best 478 MOBO that is or has been. I was told and have read that the Abit IC7 max 3 is.... Any suggestions... corrections!!!

Yup IC Max Series, DFI if ya dont mind searching for a perfect bios for it the asus p4c800e delux is a big clocker or finally my fav the msi neo.

MSI Neo... Isn't that 865 Springdale..... or have i drank too much coca cola again (can't beat the feeling)..... I'd be looking for 875...

Nope youd be looking for the rarer 875pneo-p amazing board! make sure its the fisr one btw teh one with gigabit lan

Goodluck finding anything in the 478chip, my dads suppliers have already upped the price for 478fans from 15euro to 23euro . They say stocks are VERY limited at this stage.

Hey do your fathers suppliers have any 478MOBo's. i just saw an Abit IC7 Max3 roll in at €195 and it wasn't complete just the board and the chipset heatsink had been removed and all!

Yup, they are/have stopped production of the 478 processor so anything 478 is now going to go up in price until its all gone . I have a few 478mobos here but they aren't great, just standard MSI ones i think.

LOL, iv got a stack of chips and no boards :v: . I think we are going to be using these old boards as spares but we need new boards to put into the customers pc's. It may work out cheaper to just sell these chips and start building with the 775 chips.

Hmmmm like it already a lot of 478 boards didnt have 7.1 just 5.1

Yup and brill quality too, the one i have was used in a media centre witout complaint!! And fantastic overclockers too.
