    Would it be possible to make a live bookmark/rss feed for the new posts thread? to work in firefox, not sure what other browsers support them.

    There have been RSS feeds available before -- I think they went away at the same time as the search function came back... which in my mind was a fair exchange.

    Wouldn't mind them back I suppose.
