1st time stitching

    Ok so the subject isnt fantastic, A sectio of wall carving from Angkor Wat but this was the 1st time Ive tried a stitching of any sort. Any thoughts/comments or views will be gladly received

    Also does any body know of somewhere that would print this out in say a 3ft version?

    tough place to get to unless you fly but well worth it, wish i had of had my dslr when i was there

    Maybe a bit of contrast would show a bit more detail, nice effort,the join isn't obvious. There was a place on Adalaide road that did big printing for posters etc,used to collect stuff there when I was a courier, that was a few years ago though. I think any of the big printers would do it at a price.

    Yeah this image is made up from 5 1600*1200 photos and compressed down a good bit too. Just for future reference what resolution would you reccomend if I was to try something like this again, Just dont compress and take the photos at the highest quality on the camera?

    Thanks Dubtom It just goes to show the "high" standard of my photo editing skills I was worried that contrast would highlight one of the joins in particular but it seems to have given some real good definition to the carvings

    Some of the white areas look over exposed

    If you captured this in RAW format I would try messing around a bit with the exposure settings to see if you can bring out more of the detail in the light areas
