I got a 42" Goodmans GTV42P4 -pro for €1100 just before Xmas from the Electrical Goods Sellers at the Fairyhouse market ... excellant deal..

This is prob the worst time to buy a TV as we are starting to go from SDTV to HDTV... make sure any TV you purchase is HD Ready at least ... forget about HD compatible ... thats a joke..
