I think the image is plain, it isnt bad but nor does it envoke anything in me, personally I would of lowered down to about 1foot off the ground and shot it add some perspective, and an unusual one at that.

I think it would look nice in black and white, play with the contrast and levels a bit. It'll also hide that, now very distracting, piece of poo that was kindly pointed out to us by tie_mi_shu :)

The photo has lovely texture but it's bit blown out by the reflection of the sun. You might want to darken that a bit. Put a nice black or white border around it and see what it's like. It's got the potential to be a very nice shot.

    My opinion.

It's nice, however I think the horizon might be crooked, maybe?

No probs, personally I dont think I'd go for the B&W, for the simple fact that there's a good bit of sun light in this photo therefore if you go for black and white, there's gonna be a good bit of White. try mess with the curves, and lower the blue hue. Sharpen it slightly too.

ahh v good Shrimp, i like the black boarder.. totally changes it :).. nice pic ro ;)

i did the boarders in macromedia Fireworks. You could do them in photoshop or any other editing software. It's a 25px boarder with a 1px white or black line around the photo. Quite simple, but I always use it in my photography.

thank you tie_mi_shu and thats the reason why I posted to versions, some ppl will like the white, some the black!

I think its a good pic to be fair.

Nothing particuarly special about it, its a scene that is done alot, nothing wrong in that though.

i would agree with a lower viewpoint, I think it would improve it somewhat.

    Nice shot tho.
